Crystal Palace Jerseys
Crystal Palace Football Club is a professional football club based in Selhurst, South London, England, who currently competes in the Premier League, the highest level of English football. Their official founding date is 1905, but the club has claimed that this was a continuation of the amateur Crystal Palace football team formed as far back as 1861, which would make them the oldest professional football club in the world.[1] Both the amateur and professional clubs were founded at the Crystal Palace Exhibition building and played inside its grounds during their early years. The amateur club shared the cricket pitch with the Crystal Palace Cricket Club from 1861 to 1876, and the professional club played at the FA Cup Final stadium between 1905 and 1915 but was then forced to leave due to the outbreak of the First World War. In 1924, the club moved to their current home at Selhurst Park.

Club history and recent performance
The origins of the Crystal Palace Football Club can be traced back to 1861 when Crystal Palace's amateur football team was established in the Crystal Palace Exhibition Hall. The club was established in 1905. The first version of Crystal Palace, also known as Crystal Palace Football Club, consisted of workers from Crystal Palace, a huge exhibition hall built out of glass.
The colors of the club were originally burgundy and blue, as first manager Edmund Deman brought the club a backup kit from his days at Aston Villa. In 1973, it was changed to the red and blue vertical stripes worn today. Crystal Palace has a long and fierce rivalry with Brighton and Hove Albion in the M23 derby, as well as south London clubs Millwall and Charlton Athletic. The club's nickname became "The Eagles", inspired by Portuguese club Benfica, which showed an eagle holding the ball. From mid-2010 until 2020, the club used an American condor named Kayla as the club mascot, and the bird flew from one end of the pitch to the other during every home game.
In its history, the Crystal Palace FC started the "Yo-Yo" up and down the league from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, it encountered a financial crisis. In 2010, a consortium composed of several wealthy fans, CPFC, successfully negotiated the acquisition of the club. As a result, Crystal Palace resumed the 2011/2012 season and managed to reach the League Cup semi-finals; they faced Manchester United again in the quarter-final cup, beating the Red Devils 2-1 in extra time, earning Crystal Palace their third A League Cup semi-final. In 2016, they reached the FA Cup final again, again against Manchester United, again being beaten by Manchester United to finish runner-up.
